Default Opinions. 285/60/16

Any [POSITIVE] Feedback is well appreaciate. I need opinions, comments, etc.
*Pics Preferred*
I tried to like the 245 look, not really digging it, unless you can some how change my mind. I wanna go smaller and these 285s are making me drool.
This 3rd gen has 16x8 with 285/60/16.

It doesnt seem to stick out ALOT like the 295 that I have.

I think Imma go with these.

I think its just the style of wheel. If you had the TT2 or a similar style wheel is stock sizes, that tire would look bad ***. It doesn't look terrible, just the stock wheel kinda makes it odd. But if your not in the market for wheels, I think a 285 would bring it down a notch.

Yea man. Im not really in for new wheels at the moment.
Stocks for now, just giving it a unique look. I did get some compliments when I first mounted 295/50/16 on rears. I wanna try something new like the 285/60/16.

I wouldnt know how to answer your question.
Sorry.

Yeah I got you, I love the look of a lot of sidewall.

Here's a conversion for metric to inches, and damn.. that's a 29.5" tall tire! Guessing you don't have ABS or it would be going insane!

I didnt know that. thanks.
well I do have ABS.
All it does is when Im traveling at a certain speed example 65mphs for a couple of minutes,
my E brake light and the non op appear, but thats cause of the big tire in the back.
thats about it. no problems.
E brake still works fine like.

If you put some 1" hub spacers on the rear of the car , even with the stock 245/50/16 it'll look a lot better.
When I put my factory 16 x 8's (w/245/50/16's)back on my car for a while I put 1" hubspacer in the back and it looked surprisingly good!

Hey when you did the 1 inch spacer did you have to put longer lugs in? I have an 01 Z28 and i got the I guess you call them silver snowflake wheels, and I dont want to buy rims just yet but I want to make it look as good as I can till I get the rims want

I like the way it looks with the big meats in the back also. I am wondering will it throw my speedo off? I know when i had my fox 5.0 it did. I am still new to the LS1 scene. I just dont want any of the idiot lights comming on cause i put a bigger tire on there either. So any help will be great thanks

No, the spacer has wheel studs built into it, you just bolt up the spacer like you would your wheel, and the bolt the wheel up to the spacer.
FYI, the spacers are about $150 a pair.

FYI, these aren't regular slip on spacers.
