zr-1's won't fit one trans am wheel?
i have a set of zr-1 rims. they are 10.5 all the way around. anyway on the rear passenger side there is a pieces that sticks out off the spring mount and it is stoping the tire from going all the way on. wth?

Definately must jack up or support the axle to get them on. Will leave nasty gouges if you try to take them off on a lift. You can also premanently eliminate the problem by grinding off the bumpstop mount.

i had to eliminate that problem also, that mount is a bitch to grind off. i had to file down the aftermath too just so there wasn't a sharp edge for that "just in case" scenario.

oh ok no they don't look stretched to me.. I'm going to put those pictures up today to make sure though. Thanks for all the help cus i was going to trade 2 of them for 9/9.5's so hopefully I won't have to go thru that trouble now.

The seller probably measured the OVERALL width of the wheel from outside face to outside face. Wheels are measured by the insides of the wheel flanges . . .
So if you're told they are 10.5" wide, then they are actually 9.5" wide . . . A typical wheel flange is 1/2" thick.

I agree that they are likely 17x9.5 all the way around. But to confirm, you can take the wheel off the car and look on the underside of the spoke. But if they are 17x9.5 all the way around, I'm surprised that you had to lift the rear axle to get the rears mounted, thats usually a 17x11 wheel issue.
