Default ordered mesh wheels RPM 505 on my white SS

ok guys, since I never found any white Camaro SS or f-body with RPM 505 with hypersilver/polished lip, I think its worth making a thread for it.

I ordered it today from a non-sponsor vendor and the wheels will be here in 10-14days..CANT WAIT!!! I'm going from ZR1 chrome 17'' stock wheels to 18x8 in front and 18x9 for rear. Tires are nittos 555 245/40/18 and 285/35/18 for the rear.
Cost me 1672.96$ to my door in CANADA; tax and customs fees brokerage and everything mounted balanced with lugnuts and hub rings!!Thats a sweet deal! Could've went with Nankang or Nexen for 1200-1300$ but I need grip!!

now, I must wait and I know;

after that, I'll see about shocks/springs if the car is not low enough for the wheels design..bilstein and bmr 1'' maybe.

pics to come of course, in 10-14 days...unless they're here late, comon FEDEX!!

It depends what look you want to get. And what I hate is the weight of the bigger wheels which is close to 5lbs more than 18''...plus the tire cost is another factor. I dont want the tuner style, I want to keep some muscle in it.

I will weight the old and new wheel/tire package

IMO, theres no need to go too wide like over 295 if you have good tires. Its unecessary weight.

I run 295's on the rear of mine (ADR m-Sport), don't really think its necessary to go wider than that, unless you want rubbing issues.

IIRC it is around 75$ per tire, has been a while since I checked though. I have 275 Nexans on mine.. You could fit a 295 on it but the 275 is recommended and IMO looks the best. I don't like a seriously wide tire on a street car, I think it looks funny. But figure in how cheap they are to begin with, after you get the widened it will be pretty much the same price as any other set of rims.
A buddy of mine has 335s on his and I don't like it at all.

For all you Bird owners that want to see what a similar wheel looks like.

These are AZA Z2's 18x9.5's 40mm offset with 275/35/18 Nitto Invo's

It's about $$200 per wheel.

I found a badass wheel too, but they make it in a 10" wide but too low of an offset for fbodies.

So then I thought about getting a less wide version and widening it and that would work, but then the front wheels they make are not good either (offset) and it would be another $400 to get that fixed,

so that's $800 in widening plus about $600 for initial purchase, plus tires.
