which 315/35R17 for daily driver?

Hmmm, I never really looked at Nitto, I thought they only had sticky drag radials.
Their tire comparason chart shows the NT05 as having better dry performance and just as good wet performance as the NT555.
Does anybody have experiance with both?

Looks like I'm going with the 555. More tread depth (.33 vs. .23 for the 05) and its slightly lighter (32 vs. 35 pounds for the 05). And the 555 is a hundred bucks less each.

Nitto 555 DR's here. It was pretty much all I had on the T/A and what my Z came with. The dry traction is worth the slow-goings in the rain to me and it rains ALOT here

for an all around tire i would just got with a 555, they have a better tread rating than the sumis and going by how long the sumis actually last i would have to agree, as far as the nt05's not sure but im sure either nitto will suit your needs... but by no means do i mean those two are going to stick good but stick decent and last longer, thats just my .02 though.
