Default A few pics of the convo pro's on the Camaro

Hey guys, thought i'd post up a few pics of the new convo pro's on the camaro. They look even better IMHO than i though they would. Here are some details...

The rears are Centerline Convo Pro 15X7.5 5" back space, P.N. 005755547 with Mickey Thompson 26X10.5X15 ET Streets, P.N. 3752 with tubes. They actually tuck up underneith the wheel well. Balancing the rears was a little tough due to caliper clearance becaue we used the adhesive type weights rather then the knock ons. The Fronts are Centerline Convo Pro 15X4 1.75" back space, P.N. 005401547 with 25.3X15 VW type tires. The fronts fit without any spacers needed.

Here are the pics....

Damn, the car looks badass. Has a nice rake to it making it look like a racecar. I've always liked the way the Convo-Pro's look on F-Bodies , especially with the rake you have going.

I want a rearend so I can play too.

Thanks for the compliments guys, i am really happy with the way it turned out. The 12-bolt will be by far the most expensive mod to the car, but the peace of mind is well worth it. I will probably have to go with 28" MT's in the back once I get the nitrous system installed because i'm sure i will run out of gear with the 26's. I researched the rim type for a while making sure whatever i bought wasn't going to require any body/underbody modifications or wheel spacers. Hopefully the info and part numbers will save other members a lot of time.

BTW, if anyone plans on convo pro's you will need "short shank mag lug nuts" and the size you need will be 12-1.50. For some reason i had a hell of a time finding the lug nuts, especially open ended. The 12-1.50 metric mag lug nuts are not all that common for mag rims. Obviously mag rims are most popularly used on older american cars with 7/16 or 1/2 wheel studs rather than the metric style studs used on import vehicles and newer american vehicles.

Looks exactly like my car!! Except I run the 28's.

Getting the rear end narowed & going to a 10" rim. Staying with the Convo, until I can afford some bad *** rims. It's a great rim, that clears the brakes, & requires no other modifications. It has done me well for the past few years. Good choice.

Looks great! The fit is perfect and it's a classic design. I like the fact that no caliper modification is needed.
