Default Billet Specialties Weight Savings?

Anyone have a ball park figure what a 15 x 4 F and 15 x 10 R will save me in terms of weight over the stock 10 spokes on my 02 SS?

I would be interested as well. I'm trying to rationalize the expense.

The amount of weight is also going to depend on what tires you run on the Street Lites

The Street Lites will be close to 53 pounds without tires total

The painted SS wheels are 88 pounds without tires

I have that setup on my car with bias skinnies in front and mt dragradials in the back, I weighed them and from memory the rears were the same as stock
and the fronts were 12lbs ea. lighter. I was surprised the rears were the same, thats with a 275 60 15 in the rear.

Do you have any pictures of your set up? I would be interested in seeing some, I also want to see how the 275/60's fill up the rear wells, I don't want to do any beating or lip rolling so I was going to go with this tire in the rear, how did they fit?

Thanks

I've got billet specialties on the back of mine in 15x10 with Hoosier DOT QTPs and they are a lot lighter than the factory WS6 wheels

The M/T drag radials are ridiculously heavy, about 9 lbs heavier each than a comparable Hoosier or other drag radial IIRC.

idk where you got 88 lbs for one 10 spoke rim but mine with 285 nittos weighted 56lbs, 88 seems really high especially without tires

My rear Bogarts 15x10 with a 325/50 weigh 10lbs MORE than a front 15x3.5 BS Street Lite with a tire..kinda sad..I thought the Street Lites were lighter but put them on a scale and its almost 10lbs difference! I cant imagine how heavy the rear BS are....I cant wait to get my Front Bogarts and compare them!

So what Im getting at..get BOGARTS!!!!!

And with a tire they're 88 lbs? That's a heavy tire at 66 lbs. lol!

You can figure around 50 lbs per SS wheel/tire combo

As long as they save me some weight over the stock SS wheels and tires I will be happy. Not to say that Bogarts aren't phenomenal wheels but I just don't like the fact they aren't for street use, even though I am sure you could drive them on the street, plus I am not looking to blow quite that much coin on my wheels and tires, you'd probably be looking at what ~$2200ish for the Bogarts and tires? Good luck with them though man I am sure they will be sick.
