Thanks for the help on this one guys. I can't make people read things correctly. Bascially read and ask EVERYTHING before buying something. I just don't want Camz smearing my name all over here as a fradulent seller.

i just looked back at the for sale posting and it says not OEM and there is no center caps/ it sucks to get the wrong thing but i think he listed it to the best of his knowledge.
i bought some rims before and was told they were for a Chevy/Toyota 6 lug and it turns out they were for a small 6 lug dodge Dakota(i didn't know there was even a small 6 lug lol)

Also he said he would send the centercaps about two months ago and still recieved nothing. The rims have waves on some of the spokes too.

I haven't read this thread in a while but the replies are getting me angry so again.....he PM'd me about the rims after I commented on his pictures of the REAl c5 rims. HE NEVER SHOWED ME THE AD HE PLACED. He said they were c5 rims and never mentioned that no center caps were included. He hid the facts because he knew it would make the sale...but did say they are c5 rims

Hey:
Camz you just need to sell the 2 prs of rims, and start again. And this time buy 4 matching wheels, you will be lots happier in the end. That way without looking at the wheels and them making you mad you can get over this. It appears to Myself and many others that the seller did nothing wrong. It was a bad deal for you though, as you did not get what you thought you were getting a good deal on. Better Luck on your next purchase.

I will have to side with the seller on this. If is the buyers responsibilty to ask exactly what he is getting. If a rim is listed as a Y2K rim, or a C5 rim, I wouldn't have assumed it was a factory rim. There are probably just as many reproduction/replicas out there as there are factory rims. I just bought a set off Speedline C5 z06 rims and even though the seller listed them as Speedline Z06 rims, I still asked him in PM so I know 100% what I was going to get.

Seller still should've put pics of the real thing he was selling not what it's supposed to look like. Other than that, I am with the seller, the thing you posted didn't prove anything. Sell the wheels you have and go to someone and check out the wheels your self before you buy them.
