Well standard backspacing for a 15x10 wheel and stock length 93-02 housing is 7.50" as far as the amount of grinding to fit one, I couldn't tell you. I've only seen them on one or two F bodies and both cars used drag brakes.

its annoying because they look better than the RTS does on a car. the backspacing makes the RTS look a little strange on an FBody. i read your thread on the RTS, its just ..odd with 7.5bs. any idea if 6.5 would be enough on an 8" or 9" wheel?

It's personal preference. I personally think the opposite. I think Champion wheels look like aids on any car they're on. I think my car looked killer with RT wheels in 7.5" backspace. With a 15x8 wheel you will want 5.5" backspace.

theyre the same basic wheel..lol. the RT-S wheels you got look great because of the backspacing. the RT-S on the fbody with the backspacing is strange with that pronounced flat spot around the spokes.

That's my blue camaro in my post above. They are the RT wheels, in 7.5" backspace. The RTS wheels (the non-bolted version) are for my other Camaro, and are 15x8 with a 5.5" backspace, which is the backspace you would need for a 8" wheel on a 93-02 car, so that's how they'd look if you went with a 8" wheel. If you went with a 10" wheel they'd look how they do on my NBM Camaro above.

have any side shots of the wheel instead of profile shots? looks like the champion wheel simply wont fit with stock brakes, at all. a radius of ~6.6 would barely clear and the stock LS rear brake is a little over 6.75

Good to hear! I really think you will end up loving them. They are a very high quality piece, the detail in person is amazing!

Thank you. Those wheels were the only set (out of like 10 that I had on the car) that I was finally happy with.
