Default Widest Size Tire For C5 Y2ks?

So I bought some C5 Y2ks & need to bang out the inner fenders in the rear this weekend because there rubbing when I take sharp turns. I need to upgrade my rear tires also because I don't have any traction with the tires on now. So I am wanting to know whats the widest you guys would recommend going for the rears?

front are 245/45/17
rim is 8.5

rear are 275/40/18
rim is 9.5

Yea I was thinking that... But Nitto doesn't make that size for their NT05R & M/T ET Street Radial II 295 are for 17" rims. Might do Nitto NT05R 285/40/R18 or 305/45/R18???

I have the same ones and same sizes you currently have (no problems rubbing or clearing anything), I wouldn't go over a 285 on the rear, my 275's work perfect.

Yea for some reason with my 275's I'm rubbing bad when I take hard turns. But with banging out the inner fenders 295 shouldn't be a problem at all.

275/35 or 285/35 is perfect for the 9.5" rim... 295 should be on a 10" at least, and going to a 40 series will just make the tire taller, causing more problems...
