Don't dick around grinding the fronts. Get longer wheel studs, and a 5/16" spacer and you can leave the fronts alone. Quicker, easier, safer.

Long studs and thick spacers are not a good idea. They can break off very easy.

I ran longer studs with a 7/16'' spacer on mine with zero problems. There is nothing unsafe about it.

I wouldnt use longer studs and a spacer on back cause of tire spin, but the front seems it would ok!

Using the spacer on the front is safe. I am running a 5/16" spacer and 3" or 3.5" (cannot remember) ARP moly metric studs. If you look in a Summit mag, they have them listed in the gears and axles section and they are listed as being used for firebird / camaro. These are press in ones, not screw in ones. As others have said, do not use spacers on the back.

First is for the 2.5'' version, second is for 3.25'' version. The 2.5'' should do it. I run the 3.25'' for NHRA rules.

I have a either a 1/4 or 5/16 spacer and 2.5" wheel studs here. I can't remember the size because it came with the wheels when I bought them.
