help me out (PICS ADDED) i got me some tires today for 60 bucks but dont know what there for track,road,street,ect...,they are hoosiers size are 25.5x11.5-18 they have 4 retangles holes on them 2 on one side and 2 on the other side, total 4 across.i dont think they are slicks cause they dont say it on there and i dont think they make them in 18s.and they are not the d.o.t one cause they dont have the 2 groves that go around the whole tire. so what you guys thinks they are. they have alot of life left in them judging by how deep the holes are.

I would imagine that the stiff sidewall and other construction would be a greater detriment to drag racing than the compound. A couple hours at a road race event would be a lot harder on tires than a few burnouts and passes.
