Default help me out (PICS ADDED)

i got me some tires today for 60 bucks but dont know what there for track,road,street,ect...,they are hoosiers size are 25.5x11.5-18 they have 4 retangles holes on them 2 on one side and 2 on the other side, total 4 across.i dont think they are slicks cause they dont say it on there and i dont think they make them in 18s.and they are not the d.o.t one cause they dont have the 2 groves that go around the whole tire. so what you guys thinks they are. they have alot of life left in them judging by how deep the holes are.

the letters are painted white on hoosier

Yes = not slicks

No = slicks

Sound like a road race tire.

Post up a pic. Also every tire I have ever seen says what it is on the side. For 18's I think Hoosier makes 2 different road race tires and a wet drag radial

Hoosier road race slicks. Probably too soft to drag, those usually don't go through too many heat cycles before they are junk (worn out).

I would imagine that the stiff sidewall and other construction would be a greater detriment to drag racing than the compound. A couple hours at a road race event would be a lot harder on tires than a few burnouts and passes.
