would it hurt the polished lip? if so i was just going to take out all the bolts and put them in a paint can and stick it on a shaker and just remove the faces while im at it. but ive never taken these apart so its going to be an experience

if i get them looking good and i dont feel like putting money into them for my car (i love my ruff 278's i was thinking all black on them) i could put them up on a bmw board or they would probably work perfect on a GTO and get about 2200 fixed

What i meant was for the nicer finish and bigger sizes they go over $400 each
Ive priced them out for my 69 Firebird, the wide 18X12 sizes.
The size you have im sure must be much cheaper.

well after a long school year i finally had a chance to see what they would look like on my car. the lip on the rear is changed to a 2" and the inner barrel 7" (i know its small but its about the same as my ruffs)

I saw your other thread about turning them down and I'm glad you went back and got them.
Honestly, I'd send them off to get widened. Then send them off to get cleaned/blasted and get them dipped in chrome honestly. I bet you'll have less then $2k in a BALLER set of wheels that will be light and easy to clean.
