for a daily driven street car, my 555r's did everything I wanted. long(er) lasting, nice hook on a warm day, and good enough in the rain to take it on the highway in any weather.

That's the first time I've ever heard anyone say that the ET Street radial works in the rain.
For rain you'll want the Nitto 555R with plenty of tread.
