What's your favorite and why? And how many miles can you expect out of them?

depends on what you want

daily driver sticky tire, manageable in the rain - nitto
more grip, less longevity, scary in the rain - m/t
stupid traction, buy a new set every 2500 miles - m&h

Sounds like Nitto is probably the way I'll go, I plan on putting quite a few miles on them and there is a strong possibility I'll be out in the rain with them more than once.

spdygon - What works for you?

Nitto's only cause they last about twice as long as any of the others. I buy a DR specifiaclly for a 75% Street 25% track use and the Nittos wear benifits outweight their slightly reduced traction levels compared to the other brands.

NT05r's are bad ***....Guarantee they hook just as good as et streets and last longer too...Just sold my 04 cobra last week with 2,000 miles on them and they had no sighns of wear...Destroyed output shaft on my almost 600 rwhp z06 on 19's with 'em...Try em and you will be a believer...THE HYBRID DRAG RADIAL..Street and strip.......

I prefer the longevity and versatility of the Nittos. All depends on what you're looking for -- for me, the Nittos are great -- solid traction for 10K miles, manageable if you get stuck in the rain and they make the size I need for my wheels.

Man.. you have 3 C6 Vettes, one a ZO6, and a Terminator. What do you do for a living and where do I apply?

How do the NT05R's handle on wet roads?

ET Streets always worked best for me. I ran them all the time for quite a while.

I have MT's on mine 9 second blackbird. I've been as fast as 1.35 60', 9.75 in the 1/4. Driven in the rain and hour each way to and from the track with close to 1000 miles and 14 passes down the track most of which in the 9's. Wasn't that bad in the rain. I was spraying a 150 shot all in without delay right off the line. No issues at all.
