RT-S Wheels Well, it all depends on design. The centers are much larger and I'm assuming it's designed different, this is where a higher percentage of added weight will be.
Its not marketed as a drag wheel, its a street wheel from what I understand. So the weights indicated could be realistic depending on shell thickness as well as increased center section mass. As you know, a drag wheel is not a street wheel where there are completely different benefits for both designs.
I am interested in compare and contrasts between these and other wheels. I'm not going to discuss them in here as this is not the place for it. I'm interested in understanding what the facts are about these wheels.
Maybe wheelczar can comment and clear up a few questions. I'd like to hear the official weight of the fronts and rears. The shells, what material hardness are the shells manufactured with...cold formed and are they solution hardened or final machine temper left after forming? If hardened, to what grade?
