Default A different take on the c5 DD wheels.(sneak peak update)

Just got them back from powder coat.

original plan was gloss black lips with flat black center, and still might happen, i'm going to see what they look like mounted all gloss for now though and then go from there.

i love them.

well considering the car has no engine, front end, windshield, or front suspension it will probably be a while before there are any on car pictures.

I intend to get the tires mounted and see how it looks before i decided to paint the spokes flat.

I got these wheels for $663 shipped+ $40 per wheel for the powdercoat.
that's $823 in this form.

Yeah, i'm not a fan of the black with polished/machined lip look.

The car is pretty murdered out, the chrome/polished/machine lip is too cliche, and just doesn't look all that great if you ask me.

Yeah, I'm thinking so too, but this looks killer to me already, so i'm kinda hesitant to do it.

That looks really sweet, the powder coaters did a great job. I hate these rims when their black with the outer rim left machined.
