Default Best Drag Tire for 16x8 wheels

I've got an old set of wheels from a 94 formula. The 3 spoke design that are 16x8.

I want to use them strictly for going down the 1/8th mile.

What is a good drag tire size, type, and brand.

FYI. Stock suspension 98 WS6 m6; stock 10-bolt 3:42 gear

I agree with the above post and would like to add:

If you want to stay with a stock size and not have the abs light come on, go with the 26".

If you plan to spray or go with a bigger gear, get the 28". But you will most likely get an abs light on for the tire difference. Obviously you will not have abs functions as well.

Those suggestions have worked well for me in the past. Opinions may differ.

I have run a couple sets without tubes with no problems. If your car sits for weeks 2 or more you might need to put some air in them every once and awhile.
