Default New Tires! Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

So after a nice long wait. Well around 4 weeks. I arrive home today and setting in my drive way is a set of new Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 2 x 275/40/17 amd 2x 315/35/17, And i cant wait to see what the look like on! but it will still probably be a few weeks before i get to test these tires out. Have a few other things i got to take care of first. But looking forward to it.

I read some pretty good things about them, I wanted something good for the street and something with a little more thread ware, its like 300, and something that i read handles good. wet and dry, because it can rain any time in Hawaii so. And that where not crazy priced. i had all shipped to me to Hawaii for under 1k.

Ya, I did allot of reading before buying them, didn't find much bad about them. I found one one site the thought there 315 seemed narrow. but then i seen on another where they said the opposite. So i figured ill give them a try, I like the way the look. Witch some do. And some dont,

i use to have the same setup on my car, pretty good tires, the rears break loose very easy though so as far as spinnning, they do that well! but yea, they are good tires for the price....

Nice. those are very good tires all around. Ive had them on my old setup. good cornering, good traction wet/dry . Better than my old goodyears. make sure the tire installer mounts them correctly. there should be a rotation mark on the sidewall.

what part of hawaii do you live? i used to live on oahu but recently moved to the big island.

Cool looking tires. I've been rocking the Goodyear GS-D3's the whole time I've been in Hawaii, with no problems.

Wow another person from Hawaii... Wonder how many of us are out here, I had a hell of a time finding anyone that carried 315 tire size on this island. I called all the tire shops in Kona, And none of them, had them, And lex brodies said they could order me some, but the ones they had to offer were a bit more. so i deiced to give these a try. Since i could get all of them shipped to me for less then 1k, Now im working on piecing together a procharger, Have the head unit so far. D1SC, and have the inter cooler on its way.

I run 295's and ordered it from tirerack.com then had it shipped to a place here. Just as an fyi, there are no good tuners in Hawaii, so you'll have to roll with a mail order or tune it yourself, unless you trust the tuners here, which I would not recommend. I'll be leaving the island and going back to florida in a little less than 2 months, very excited to get off this rock.

So for you guys that own them, do they run narrow (like a sumitomo) or wide (like a goodyear F1) for a 315?

I've got the same tire in the rear except a 295/30/19. I haven't had any problems.

I've had mine for 3 seasons now and have had no issues. Great handling but tend to break loose easy from a stop. I have 295's on my 18x10.5 and they are on the skinny side. Good performance tire but my next set will be different just because they don't fill out the wheel.

You can kind of see in this pic how they are rounded on the edges on the rears. Not the best pic sorry, I can try later to get a close up if someone wants it.
