Default Which drag wheels for the street?

I need drag wheels that are safe for the street but do give a real weight reduction. Something that fits without grinding and all that would be nice. The weld RTS seem to be a good choice but what are the options?

WELD RTS..no other comparison for the price! These wheels are the real deal. SFI 15.1/2 approved, black or polished finish, sizes from 15" to 20" streetable, light weight, AFFORDABLE!

Yes the weld RTS seems to be the wheel of many. I saw that they are suposed to fit without any mod to brakes but I did see 1 or 2 guys who were not so lucky and did have to grind. Would any of you guys be able to tell me what the weights are for 15x8 and 15x10 ?

15.9 LBS for my 15x10 1/4. They don't have a true 15x10 i guess.

Also throw my fronts out there too....

So these weld rts fit on a stock f body front and back? Would running a 15x8 in the front need mod? Im not so sure I like the idea of skinnies on the street. Thoughts?

They fit without any grinding at all...just make sure you get the wheels that are made for medium pad heights. You would be fine running a skinny on the street...When I had my billet specialties I ran them all the time and never had a issue..even drove with them in the rain. I'm running my RTS's on the street as well

Thanks for the help
How is the handling and breaking with the skinnies? Those are skinnies on the car right now? Are you saying the 15x8s would fit up front without mod also?

The front are 15x4 and rears are 15x10. It handles pretty good with skinnies up front, I drove all over the place and even made a 4 hour drive with no problems on my old setup...obviously you dont wanna go into really tight turns at high speeds. But for overall daily driving you shouldnt have a problem. I am running the Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radials up front. They are on the link.

I'm not sure if the 15x8's will fit up front without doing some modifications..just depends on the backspacing they have.

I daily drive on my RTS's and love them. They are a killer wheel and could easily sell for twice what they do. They are that nice of a wheel.

A 15" wheel in diameters larger than 4.5" will not fit on the front of 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird
