Default Best looking 17" wheel for Trans Am

Looking to see if any 17" aftermarket wheels look good on my Trans Am. I am basically looking to cut down on tire costs by staying with 17's. Whats the best looking wheels that don't necessarily look "too small"?

I still like the 01/02 polished speedlines. Fiske fm5 with a fat lip are my favorite wheels on any fbod though!

whats your price , max price i mean . you say 800 bucks that leaves you with used tt2s maybe new , and then zr1s . Check 6litereaters site out they have some nice rims . But what are you looking for and how much to spend.

Yeah, i would say the top of my budget would be $800- $900. I like wheels with either a polished or chrome finish.

I would like to see pics of the OE Wheels C6 Z06 DD in 17". I think they would look good, but I'm not totally sure because they may look too small. I've seen plenty of 18" and 19" pics of them, but not many 17" pictures to go by.

If no wheels look good in 17's then I'll just have to wait until I need a new set of tires (which will be awhile since I only put 3000 miles a year on my bird.

I dont think the C6 Z06 would look right in a 17. Thats just me tho. Some ZR1s would look good, they always look good on T/A's.

if you must change them..keep an eye out on here in the classifieds..

i started with 17" chrome zr1's..

i pick up a MINT set 0f chrome 17/18" C5 Z06's for $600, the tread on all tires were at 95%....

i sold those, and picked up some 19" axis super hiro's... from here as well....

sold those and picked up my perfect 19" ruff racing 278's....

If you wanna stay with 17s, keep the stockers and widen the rears to run a fat tire.

Those 278's are bad *** and hard to find.

Think I will just keep the stockers for now, I actually like them but sometimes just get bored with the look of the car.

This is one I have looked into: http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/
I have never used them so I can't speak of their work personally but have read a lot of good things about them. I have read around $250 per wheel
