Default Removing Rear Wheel Studs?

What do I have to remove to be able to remove the rear wheel studs? They are all loose, but there is no way they are going out the back without something being removed.

Take a grinder and cut them in half. And putting the new ones in I cut a small sliver of the head off so it would just make it passed the sensor.

They should clear that ABS reluctor wheel. Just get a nice even and solid shot at the stud. I know I've replaced them before with the entire brake assembly still on the car.

These ones are so bent/damaged they aren't coming out straight. But I don't see how it would be possible to put in new ones without removing the ring.

X2!! Easiest way, not that expensive. you will probably need new bearings anyway/ eventually in the near future. being that 4th gens are considered older cars now.

Is that ring for the traction control or ABS?

How did you end up changing them. I'm in the same boat. I need to put a set of longer ARP studs in. I dont want to pull the axles to change the studs.

I had to pull the axle, have the ABS ring (I think) pressed off, the new studs installed, then the ring was pressed back on. Taking the axle out is simple, and a local machine shop pressed in the new studs for $25 - well worth it.
