Default Question about lowering on 11 rears

I was wondering if you can have ZR-1 17 x 11 on the rear and still lower the suspension by an inch?

You can, I've got 17x11 w/ Nitto NT555 315's...I have springs, heater hose mod for the lowering aspect. It took a lot of hammering and getting adj. LCA's also helped free up some room. An adj. panhard rod is also needed.

I don't know exactly, but its more than an inch total between the springs and the heater hose mod.

Mine is way lowered on 17x11's. It took was some BFH in the wheel well in a couple spots and making sure the rearend is centered with an adjustable panhard bar. edit.. also forgot I rolled the fenders too.

I've got 17x11 ZR1s with Sumitomo 315s. Lowered an inch or so, stock panhard bar, stock LCAs, no BFH needed, have not rolled the fenders or trimmed the bumpstops. No issues yet, although I'd like to roll the fenders eventually just to be safe.

I lowered mine and I have 17x11 with a 315 rear. Its not a problem, I did have some rubbing up front on the inside fender well, so I did ad a 5/16 spacer. This really made the car look even better. In my opinion any way. Either way it will fit fine.

I picked up an inch n width going with the 315 Nitto 555 over the Sumis I was running previously. I'm getting my fenders rolled as its no longer avoidable.

I thought I read somewhere that the Nittos were one of the most narrow 315's you could buy? Reason im sayin, is im trying to figure out which tires to go with on my 11's..

The 555R (drag radial) runs narrow. The regular street radial 555's I was very very pleased with and a good bit wider than the Sumis.

Edit: In addition to needing to roll my fenders now...I had to get the BFH out again and pound on the fender wells more. Haha

That looks good. I like how it fills the fenderwell. I hope the 295/45's I'm getting will look similar, but not require rolling my fenderwells.
