Got WELD XP Prostar 16 X 8 for rear, will "plain" Prostar up front match?
Will the front non-XP prostars match pretty closely with the XP rears? I got a good deal on a pair of 16 X 8 Weld Prostar XP with 28 X 11.5 X 16 ET Streets (used once at track for 4 runs, and once on street, with both types of lug nuts, screws in rim for $350). I would like to get some skinnies to match, and can't tell much without seeing them on a car. Anyone have the prostar's XP in back and standard prostar's in front (like 15 X 3.5 or such)?
Thanks
Thanks

it can be done but you'll have to bust out the grinder. the fins on the caliper wont clear unless you grind them down BUT BE CAREFUL. I think you can figure out what happens if you grind it too thin. Personally I don't think its worth the risk.

Check their website for pics, but I will guess that the XP's will be slightly different but most folks will not notice.

Guess that really answers the question if there's much difference!
It really comes to down to personal opinion. I'll be changing my XPs over to 15x10s now that I have the Wilwood lightweight brakes on the rear. Just looking to get light and go fast.

The issue really won't be how they look if you use spacers. As you can see in the pics, 5/16" doesn't make that much difference in appearance. However, it was a big deal to me for amount of bite that you loose on the studs/lugs. The only way I know around this is to get out the grinder.
