Default 275 Nitto 555R vs. 255 M/T ET Street Radial

Which would hook better for the 1/8th?

I could fit a 275 nitto on my 17" ws6 wheels and use them as my street tires or I could fit a 255 M/T on a spare set of 16x8 wheels I have.

I hear the M/T ware out too fast to use for normal street tires.

I know the M/T have better traction, but would the 275 nitto make up the difference vs. the 255?

for a bolton car i wouldnt get mt's unless you go to the track often which with a factory 10 bolt i wouldnt anyway. i have 275 nitto 555r's for my cammed m6 car and love them they last alot longer then mickeys and hook pretty decent

In regards to nothing but hooking up better the M/T will blow the 555r out of the water. the 275 vs 255 will not make up the difference.

Go with the Mickeys. I have seen the small 16" go 9.99....After I saw that nothing else really mattered.... Great tires
