Default Flat nitto 555r dr...

Just noticed one of my tires is flat.. Are this safe to patch back up.. Just asking.. I though I saw some where that it was a bad idea.. I use them on street driving if it maters..

I don't see why they wouldn't be if they're street tires.

I had a tire patched about 1k miles ago. No problems. Just depends how big the hole is.
If you're worried about it, have it patched and buy a new tire too. Keep the patched one in case you need it

youre not supposed to patch or plug z rated tires for some reason. also, if the hole is in the sidewall, dont patch it. if it were me, i'd try repairing it, but i wouldnt do very many high speed pulls until its replaced

iv had plugs in 555rs. did just fine. a patch should do even better

On z rated tires putting a patch on causes it to loose its z rating. But you "can" do it

I had a good size nail in one of my new NT05R's with less than 200 miles on it. It's still a radial tire and can be patched as long its not a certain distance from the edge. The tire place I took it too plugged it and patched it.

So far so good.
