my 315's wont fit, anyone else Roll fenders to fit?
a couple weeks ago I finally got my new wheels and tires, and even some BMR suspension pieces. the rear wheels are 18-10.5's. i wanted to run nittos new NT05R drag radial. the only size for me is the 315/40-18. well i BFH the fenders and everything seemed ok for about two weeks and then i started cutting the outside of the tire (sidewall). i guess the new suspension settled and it started cutting. it looks like i just neeed to roll the fenders but i just wondered if anyone else had this problem, and is there an easy way to DIY?
also the passnger side is the only one with the issue.
thanks for any help,

it also depends on the wheels offset.
i have 315s and i dont have any rubbing issues at all. im lowered aswell. but you have a 315/40/18, which is taller than stock. your rear might not be centered. make sure its centered first before you do anything else. but it would be a good idea to roll your fenders. i know theres a guy on the forum that rents you the tools to do it yourself.

With my 315s i had to bang the hell out of the wheel wells to make them fit. I also added the spacer above the spring and a adjustable torque arm too to get the right amount of clearance and to keep it looking sexy.

thanks for all the ideas fellas. i should have spec'd my set-up to yall a little more detailed.
i am lowered one inch in rear with springs, bump stops are gone, BFH was used
i have (all adjustable) BMR torque arm, lower control arms, pan hard bar, sway bars and sumbframe con.
the 1st thing i thought is that the rear axle wasnt centered, but ive had it on the alingment rack and etc.. but its ok. I talked to couple body shop guys who are friends and they said thats just how camaro's sit. so..??
well i knew it was gonna be close with such a big tire. so i guess my only options are to roll the fender's. if that doesnt work ill just have to go to a smaller tire
thanks guys

I had to do mine also. 17x11 50mm ZR1s. My inner fender lip is flat! I hammered mine so much you can even make out a slight flare! One thing I didn't do was heat the paint to keep it from chipping... I also have an adj. rod/rod PHB which makes a hugh difference. Before that I had a nonadj. poly/poly bar (alot of side to side play) and my drivers side tire rubbed. I should also mention that I have 1/4" rear wheel spacers. Nothing hits or rubs!

Ive got 315/30R18 on 18x11 CCW's and lowered on Eibach Prokit. I had the inner fender wells modified to fit the wheels/tires but have not rolled the fenders. I dont have any cutting issues, so Im thinking its definitely the taller tire is your issue. Dont know how much the rolling will help, but every little bit helps. Im just curious, why the 315/40 and not the stock diameter 315/30? By the picture you supplied, looks like a truck tire on there. Just my opinion, not very good looking, but maybe its taller for a purpose?
