I have been checking out sites constantly looking for that right look..anybody else have pics of what they have or suggestions PLEASE chime in and help out! my max price is $500 each and size I am thinking of going with is 18s ..thanks

yeah they are good looking rims and may end up being my choice although I was hoping to go with something different than everybody else but I am having a hell of a time deciding.

see thats the thing I am having trouble with...I like the way they look in the picture alone..but what about when its on my car!? it could look like total ***. So i say go with the TT2s!

The first ones you posted don't look bad. DO NOT! I repeat... DO NOT buy TT2's... EVERYBODY has them.

 

How about chrome 18" Z06 wheels? Or some 18" HREs of somesort.

Have you looked into Mecham Vitesse wheels. They are made by Weld, they are forged (22lbs), they are chrome, they are 18's, and they are made in offsets specifically for the F-bods. They would get my vote!

If you can get out of teh 500 price range I say get the FM10's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

 

Here's my breakdown for ya:

Z06's don't belong on a 'Bird. They look great on a Camaro but I haven't seen one 'Bird yet with them that looks 'above average'.

TT2's look killer. BUT... they're way over-used

So yeah, I ended up putting ZR1's on mine because I've seen one or two Birds with them, and they look killer, and I got a too-good-to-be-true deal on them from a friend of mine. So yeah. You can check mine out in my sig if ya want.

as far as the Z06 goes..I too do not like the way they look on birds..camaros look great with them though..and the Fikse FM10s don't do it for me either, I will look into the mecham and boyd smoothie and see what I think..thanks for the suggestions and comments!

 

TT2's are popular for a reason. theyre SWEET. f-bodies really arent common enough for it to be overdone anyway. ive only seen one 4th gen with TT2's around here. a company in the recent issue of GMHTP is selling wheels modeled after bullitt mustang wheels in f and y-body sizes. they come in silver and chrome and are less than 300 a piece. kinda like tt2's but a bit different. also if youve got that issue check out the anodized black wheels on the z06 at the sema show made by kinesis.
