Default 17x11 rub

Does anyone else 17x11 rub when you get into a turn? Mine do. In the rear. Its not lowered. Is that normal?

I'm interested in this too. I'm in the middle of putting my 315's on. I had the factory wheels widened 2" to the back side and I'm running a 1.25" spacer. I've done a little hammer work and grinding and right now I have maybe a half inch of clearance between the inside of the wheel well and the tire.

How much space do you have?

Oh, mines is also stock height and I have a solid BMR panhard bar.

I didn't hammer or grind nothing. Didn't measure. Just threw them on. They only rub if I get into a turn hard or near air born lol or coming down to hard from a dip

I'm running a 17x11 with a 50mm offset. I'm lowered on BMR springs, 50/50 shocks and run an adjustable panhard bar. No rubbing issues here.

Check and see if your rearend is square under the car.

I'm putting 315's mounted on 17x11's on my TA shortly. I'm guessing no fender rolling is required?

^no, if you have passengers and hit a bump it may cut up the sidewall a little, but it wont hurt anything.

mines also lowered 2 inches

no rubbing here. stock springs and stock suspension in rear. might need panhard bar to center up the rear just a bit

I have 36mm offset 17x11 ZR1s and 2" springs. I rolled the fenders just to be safe and use a Founders adjustable PHB. there was slight rubbing on the drivers side but some tweaking with the phb and everything is perfect

I was going w/founders suspension soon. How do you like your PHB? Which type are you running?

I have the single adjustable poly/rod end version - I love it. Very well packaged, super fast shipping and you can't beat their prices. If installed correctly, I can adjust it in just a few minutes with the car on the ground

Check where it rubs. If BFH is required do it, or a spacer.

When I had a poly/poly adj. bar (Spohn) I would still get rubbing (to much deflection from the poly IMO), and it seemed I could never keep that PHB centered. I didn't really care for that adj. nut in the center of the bar either. I then went with a rod/rod adj. bar and haven't had any trouble since. Instead of just buying 'off the rack', I sourced the bar, rod ends and hardware and 'made' my own PHB. There's threads about making your own PHB on Frrax if that's what you want to do. Not that I thought I could make a better bar then what was out there, it was just something I wanted to do.

My c6 z06 18x10.5 with 315/35r18 dont rub stock hieght. No wheel spacers. I beat my inside fender like a **** with a mallet. It fits where the stock ws6 rims did.

Remove bumpstops and grind bracket off if you find it rubbing the inside barrel.
