Default Help Me Decide on Rears!!

ive got a 99 ws6 with 17x9.5 z06 rims on all corners
nitto nt05's 275/40/17 on the front
nitto nt05R 315/35/17 on the rear
the rear tires kinda stick out past the rim cause the rim is a little to small for the 315's i cant find anywhere 17x11 z06 rims but i do find 18x10.5 rims
so what do you guys think, should i buy 18x10.5 for the rear or
should i just have the 17's that i have now widened?? ive heard its about 200 a rim.

I bought my chrome Z06 wheels 10 years ago. Back then they didn't make that wheel in 17x11, I doubt they do now. The cheaper route would be to sell your rear rims and get 18x10.5. Personally, I would widen them though.

yeah do you think that 18's are to big for the rear?

18's are too big, man. Get some 19's instead since those are two sizes that no one has EVER put on a F-body before.

if u want the easier rout, buy new 10.5, if u want them to look bad *** and money isnt an issue.. i would make them wider.. i wanted to do that on my 10.5 c5zo6 rim, but for half of inch is not worth it,,

what you have actually looks good in my opinion. I don't find the bulge obnoxious or unsafe looking

If you switched to 18's, you'd have to get new tires. I would just keep it 17's and have them widened to 11",imo. Nice car btw.

yeah its usually half and half whether or not people like it. i think it kinda makes it look more like an old school muscle car but i like it. i think i might just end up getting them widened at some point.
tires for 18's are almost twice as expensive as tires for 17's
