Default 325/45/17 M&H Will they hook 750whp?

Like the title says, planning to buy M&H's 325/45/17 drag radials! I was wondering if they would be able to handle 750whp? Please give me input, thanx.

Default 325 45 R17. M&H Racemasters

I just installed a new set if M&H Racemasters and WOW do they work well. They are a 325/45 17 on 17x11 rims. I have also tried the 315/35R17 MIckey Thompson and a 275/40R17 Hoosier Drag Radials. Don't get me wrong both MT and Hoosier make great tires, but man these Racemasters dead hook. They are really soft. I'm not sure how long they will last but so far I am very impressed with the product and the customer service that John from M&H offered. I don't see many people running them but they are all missing out on a great tire.

I hear the M&H are fantastic. They look great too.

Do they handle at all? Could you run them on the street or are they pretty much strip only?

Look a little more street friendly (rain) than MTs... Any input on it?

Did you have to run spacers to fit those? BFH mod is a given.

They are like a slick down the middle so rain might be iffy.

Only thing done to fit them on my car was to roll the fender lip. No bfh. I do run QA1's set on full with stock spring height.

mine are my street tires, i run slicks at the track. as far as rain is concerned, i never intentionally let my car see rain, thing doesnt even have wipers anymore, but i have gotten caught in storms more than once and its manageable. shitty but manageable. better in my opinion than my old m/t drag radials

btw getting the 325/40/18's to fit is not for the faint of heart. the old 275/50/17's bolted up with no issue

Here is a good comparison shot next to my old nitto 315/35/17 drag radial. You can see how they are down the center of the tire.

These are great tires. About to install the third set on my car. I get about 2/3 a season out of a set, avg about 3k miles and 3-4 track visits. Pushing nearly 800WHP.

I've had 315 tires on my factory 17x9 wheels since 2002 and I laugh at people when they would always say how bad and terrible it is to do that.....

A lot of people used to say how the tires could come off......lol

I get like 17,000 miles out of my Nitto or GS-D3's with perfectly even wear every time......and they take the hardest turns you can put them through on the street.

But I thought 325's would be pushing it a bit...I guess they do just fine too.

I'm gonna put 325's on 18x10.5's....they should be perfect on them. If not ill widen them to 11.5"
