How to make Torq Thrust II look different?

Ok, so after all my efforts, I ended up getting the most overdone rim EVER on an Fbody... TT2s... 17x10s... What would you do to make them not so plain and common? Painted centers, pin stripe, plastidipped, ???

What would you do to them? Im looking for Ideas. I really really like them but Ive got to do something different

I think painting the centers is your only option, everything else will probably look tacky.

Well, my efforts were to avoid TT2s.. But I just couldnt.. They look too damn good... I will be putting them on the car in the next week or so after the new tranny, rear end, brakes and lowering.... Ive got some time to play around with ideas... If you guys have any and a pic to show me, that would be great...

first I'd lose the dome center cap. I've seen a couple with a just a flat cap, and looks a lot meaner IMO. not a fan of the body color painted lips. Black and polished bout only colors that look good on lips to me. as for spokes..... I would definitely coat them with something. they were a bitch to polish!! (Main reason I sold mine). Not much options to be unique, I mean Red spokes would Not look good, so black, gray, charcoal, silver, or polished are about it......

Make them look like the old school Dow 7 mag wheel coating or simply have them powdercoated to look like real magnesium. Google it if you don't know what I am talking about.

i wonder if I mirror polish the lip but bead blast the centers??? add some red to the center cap or a pontiac emblem...?

I'd do some photoshop of different ideas just play around with it. Great choice btw, theres a reason there so popular

Use the eye dropper to match the car paint it will look better i think

well, I was going for an anodized look.. not really painted.. kind of like the blue anniversary rims... Ill play more with it.. Ill probably plastidip them the spray them red just to see...
