Post pics of your 17x9.5" wheels!
Over the last few weeks I have been debating on which wheels to buy for my '99 Trans Am. The car is my daily driver, and I am setting it up for autox. Being as it is a daily and I'm not exactly easy on the rear tires, 18's are out of the question. A wider tire in the rear is also out of the question, due to the ill effects it will have on my handling.
This has narrowed down my choice to being 17x9.5 on all four corners. I plan on running 275/40r17 BFG KDW2's front and rear.
I've searched the OEwheels thread and have found several pictures of cars with 17x9.5's all around. However, I'm hoping there are more of you out there that can post pics.
I'm debating now between the C6 DD in competition gray with machined lip, or a set of polished c5 DD. Hopefully somebody has pictures of these in 17x9.5 all around.
I would absolutely love a set of Fikse FM5's, but before I drop that kind of cash on wheels and tires I need to finish my suspension. (Fays2 watts link, torque arm w/relo, tubular k member, a arms, etc). Not to mention I wouldn't even want to daily a set of $3,000+ wheels.

I am getting out of active duty military and will be a full time student in about a years time. Money will be tight, too tight for $600 for rear tires.
Not to mention the car is getting set up for autox. I have been told a 17" wheel is much better in this regard than an 18" with a smaller sidewall. I will pick braun or beauty any day of the week.
