Thinking of getting 17x9/17x11 OE wheels
I am thinking of getting chrome ZR1 17x9/17x11 OE WHEELS deep dish but the tire selection for 315s has REALLY deminished since I had 17x11s back in 2000. Other then drag radials, what tires are you all using now for 315s? For those of you with the deep dish 17x11s, do you or did you have issues with fitment and have/had to beat in the wheel wells; so, the tires wouldn't rub? I am wondering since these wheels have the deep dish, that the mounting surface of the rim is more inboard, thus bringing the inner sidewall of the tire outward a bit, so maybe it doesn't rub...like the standard offset does.

I have nitto nt555's on one of my cars with ZR1deeps and I like the look but they stick out a little and my car is lowered and they rub a little.

No theres not a big street style selection, but why would you want to run 315's if not to use them?
Go for Nt555's if you want more of a street tire.
Im running NT05's in 315s and even those are great street tires IMO.

I have 17X11 OE ZR1s on the back of my car with the 50mm offset and they have 315 Eagle F1s on them; bought the tires used, though, so I don't know what's out there for tire currently. I don't know about fitment on the Pontiac, but on the Camaro I had to lay the inner fenders back a little at around the 2:30 position to keep the tires from rubbing. An hour taking the brakes off, persuading the sheetmetal with a nice hammer, and putting the brakes back on and she was done. The bump stops interfere if you jack the car on the subframe and let the axle hang, but if you jack on the pumpkin you'll have no problem as the bump stop is entirely inside of the wheel. I have some travel-limiting straps to build just in case I really unload the suspension on the road, but cruising around thus far has been no problem.

Unfortunately the wheels were out of stock so I had to be black. I can always strip the paint if need be.

I only have 275/40/17's on my car but when I get something else to drive and rebuild my car, I'm putting on 17x9.5 up front and 17x11 on the rear and if they still make them when this happens, I'm going to go with Nitto NT555 all the way around cause I already have them on my 9.5's and love them.
