Default Ronal LZ-VT Black Wheels 18 x 9.5 +46mm Offset

Ronal LZ-VT Black Wheels 18 x 9.5 +46mm Offset

I am going to run these wheels with my 1993 Trans Am for my street tires and then just switch to the 15 Pro Stars in the rear for the strip. I got 4 of these rims as I didnt want to run 19s in the rear. I am thinking of powdercoating mine a charcoal grey color as opposed to the black seen here. Does anyone have any good suggestions color wise?

What size tires would be the maximum size I can run without having to resort to too much beating and banging? I like the look of the tallest tire feasible so I dont want to run Rubber Band Tires

The finish above looks good, but the Black finish with Gloss Black lip looks really good!
Black wheels look good on red cars!

If your lowered I recommend a 275/35/18 or a 285/35/18; F & R.
The most popular size is a 275/35/18, you'll have a very good selection of brands and models to choose from, for a fair price. For a little more width and height a 285/35/18 is a good option, but your selection is very limited and it cost more than the 275/35/18.
If your not lowered go with a 275/40/18; F & R.

Thanks!

I think I'm going to go 275f and 285r as the car is not lowered. I love the look of the rims. I took the centers to the powder coated and I'm going with a Black Chrome with silver mist which will give a dark charcoal color overall which I think will be a more versatel color in case I repaint the car which it needs badly!

I'm going to leave the lip polished aluminum for now but I think youse correct that the black lip would look great with the right car color combination!

The original Rim was Flat Black. This one is Black Chrome overlaid with Silver so it looks like a Dark Charcoal Grey color.

I am leaning to doing the outer rim in Black as I do think that would look good but I have plenty of time to decide.

My friend has some 245/45/18 and 275/40/18 tires so we are just going to mount them so we can get an idea on fit for the car! I'll post picks as soon as I get the on the car. The tires are old so they will be replaced before the car is driven at any kind of speed.

And because I'm tired of airing up the tires that are flat on the car now because they won't hold air.

Those look real good, clean up the rims a bit and roll them! I would plasti-dip the rim or something first though to see how it will look.

I am not sure why but left rear wheel has different size on centering hub. The rings that came with the wheel were marked Pontiac so maybe Chevy has a different size, idk?

The shop is a mess as I am doing inventory and cleaning out the living quarters of my horse trailer and the Trans Am seems to be catching most of the crap, lol!

The shop had another set of 275/40/18 tires so I have those on all 4 wheels!

The lighting is terrible but it's what I could get.
