New (to me) CCW T-10s with a question about tire sizes.
Well, I recently picked up this set of 19x9.5 and 19x11 CCW T10s that were supposedly on a G8 before. The front tires are 255/35/19s and the rears are 285/35/19, so the overall height is taller than what they replaced, 275/30/19s. I'm ok with it because it offers me a little more sidewall which gets rid of some of the harshness of running 19s, and it also helps with traction as it's a larger diameter tire. The rears need to be replaced, and I'm debating what to go with. Right now I'm leaning towards either a 295/30/19 or 305/30/19. Thoughts?
Fitment wise, the rear fenders need to be rolled just a little bit, but they clear on the inside fine. I've driven the car and don't have any issues right now with rubbing at all.

Liken it....
Would def go for the 305s...might lose that rubber band look you sometimes get with 19s. Not to mention would look great out back
Saw somewhere you mentioned possibly powdering them....any more thoughts? Something a little darker (NOT black) would look good. Get some brakes on that bad boy too

As for a big brake kit, yeah, I know I need some. I have the C5 rotors up front, but a CTS-v setup would look killer.

305's for both the wider, more aggressive look and the slightly larger overall diameter (although not much) would help with traction and the ride like you already mentioned. if you could swing a 315, i would go for it, but i think you mentioned in another thread that the 315's were like twice the price of the 305's/295's

I agree that the 305's in the back would be best. On my 20 inch CCW 505a's, I'm running a 325/25/20. They came with the wheels. I think a 305/30/19 would look great on yours. From the pics you've posted, the wheels look really good. Not seeing any flaws in them. I think powder coating them in a hyper black would look good (considered doing it to mine as well), but with some light sanding and polishing, they should turn out like brand new.
I must say that the T10's look amazing. It was very difficult finding any Trans Am or Camaro running them when I was looking at buying wheels. Before I bought the used CCW 505a's I have now, I had it narrowed down between the T10's and the SP510's. Your car is definatley unique and looks great.

Those look killer
Do you know what the offsets are? The rears look like they fit better than the ones that CCW specs for the f-body, meaning in my opinion the f-body spec rears stick out too far requiring lip rolling.

I honestly don't know the offsets, I guess I could measure. I think what's deceiving you about the rears is that the tires are only 285's on an 11" wheel. I am definitely going to roll the lips when I go to a 305 tire.
