Default Need wheel opinions for new billet wheels..

Decision time

I picked the wheels.. I picked the size (18"s).. im going with Budnik Gasser D's but Im trying to decide if I should get the traditional lip (stepped) or the "fat lip" design.. the traditional will make my brakes look better but the fat lip design gives a deeper look..

Thoughts?

Here is the standard:

Here is the Gasser in Fat Lip.. Note: this is the gasser and not the uni-directional Gasser D..

Ready is a relative term -- I might be there but missing a few parts (like most of interior..)

Sorry I couldnt help more with the picnic this year but with the delays on the project and work its been crazy.. hope I can help judge again though

I like the idea of standards in the front and fats in the rear. JMO

I like the thin spokes as they will show off the brakes real well.. plus the weight on them is pretty good and the Gasser D has a nice aggressive "road race" look to them..

Also they are true Unidirectional with mirrored right and left wheels.. thats a BIG plus

Oh, and they are something different from the common 5 spoke.. (and I got a great deal

Steve
Good choice with the Budniks, I am very happy with my FL's, I like what Al stated standard front and FL in the rear, definantly would give the rear a meatier look. Either way you will be happy they are a great wheel. Good Luck
Regards
Andy
