Question opinions on BFG g-force and comp t/a's. Need ASAP

Right now I have g-force's 315/35/17. Just found a small nail in the sidewall of one, so heating them up at the track at low pressure is out of the question. Also the tread, or should I say lack there of, is really absolutly gone.

I know the g-forces are really good but are expensive as hell $263 a piece. While the Comp-ta is $164. That is a $200 differance. What are the differences between the comp t/a and g-force. Will I get the same straight line/track performace between the two.

Please any information, times to back up your stories, or anthing to help will be appreciated.

Well, I used to run 295/40/20 BFG G-Force KDW on my truck and they were really nice tires. Rode and wore well, and they stuck nice on launches. Im pushin a lot of power to the wheels in a pickup and had good traction. Comp T/A wont last you long but will stick a little better.

Ok, well I am a moron.. Everyone is allowed a brain fart every once in a while right?

I currently have the comp ta's not the g-force. Here is what I am really looking for. I know the comp ta will last 4000miles max. And the g-force will last 10-15k if taken care of. Basically what kind of performace loss will I have going with the KD. My Z28 is my daily driver so I put miles on it, and the comp ta's seem to be a waste for me.

Input?

thanks

I would go with the KDW. With proper maintenance like balancing and whatnot, you can get like 25,000 miles from them.

Comp T/A Drag Radials do kick *** when it comes to traction, but they suck *** when it comes to tread life. I bought my first pair last February and had to get my second pair in September of the same year. G-Force are a good all around tire especially the KDW's (King of Dry and Wet), but if you wan't traction whenever you need it, stick with the BFG DR's.
