Here's a couple more choices.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Tire=135WR7EXS

These Nitto tires are not drag radials.

I have Nitto NT555 tires on all 4 corners one my car and I like them, they are soooooo much better than the Sumito tires I had before. It's a lot more sure footed than before. Remember these are the non drag radials.
I would suggest them, I'm sure there are better tires out there, but they are a damn good tire for the price.

Sumitomos are junk. Go with Nitto's. 555's are nice tires and are available in both sizes.
I recommend discounttiredirect.com. All of their prices include shipping, and if you can find them cheaper somewhere else, they usually beat the other place's price from my experience. The guys there are great and knowledgeable too.

I think all of us 11" rear ZR1 guys will eventually have to go to 18" or 19" set-ups to get decent tires. Not many lines offering 315/35ZR17.

I've got NT05's in 275/315 and they are awesome. They are only 200 treadwear though, so if your car is a daily I would go with the 555's for better tread life and better in the rain.

Nitto NT05 don't run narrow like the 555 and are pretty superior in every way. Discount Tire Direct has them for pretty close to 555s price too. No reason to run anything else.
I think the set is $796 shipped. I'm actually going to be running the NT05s up front and the NT05Rs out back 275/315.

Perfect example of why to RUN away from Sumitumo 315's. I learned the hard way on Easter going to pick up some more eggs for the girls to color on Easter...
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's up front, 275/40r17 with some CRAZY deep treads, and the absolute **** Sumi's in back. Guess who's now in the market for a new pair of Chrome 17x11's and Nitto 555 Extremes?
