Default 315/35/17 QUIET tire needed

Been having my staggered oewheels on for a year and just changed out my LM2 exhaust for Dual/Dual. Good lord these Sumitos (sp) are LOUD!!!!

Shed some light on a quiet tire please

Thinking about a nitto drag radial from discount for 194 a tire

Thanks

Drag tires will not be quiet. I'd look into a Nitto Invo if you want a nice quiet tire, I didn't realize how loud my RE050A's were until I swapped them out. I was using a 285/30/19 and it was super quiet.

Invo doesn't come in that size.

Nitto NT555 or NT05 would be better.

Not a whole lot of really quiet tires in that size.

Anything will be quiet compared to the sumitomos lol. Yeah in that size you don't have many options.

I've had the 555R and the NT05 in 315/35r17 and neither one is loud, tho my exhaust is dumped so its toss up. The 555R is a pretty soft compound and gets sticky when hot. I got about 8,000 miles on my set and still had some runs left, I also drove those pretty hard, dragstrip, burnouts and a lot of twisty roads. The NT05's I have now are much better tire in all ways except straight line traction and I expect to get 15-20k miles out them.

Turn up the radio! None of the tires in this size are going to what I consider really quiet. They have a focus on performance over quietness.

you will like the extremes, they hook decent after you warm them up and the 315 width i run in the rear are real quiet.
