Thanks Jake. Ok, here is something I was thinking about; simply theoretical. If someone made a "wide body" kit for a Trans Am, that would allow you to run a back spacing that would allow you to have a much larger lip, correct? The wide body kit would move the rear fenders out, say 3 to 4 inches, which means you could get an offset that would allow for a much larger lip. I know there was a guy on here with a black Trans Am who had his rear fenders widened and I remember his wheels had a huge lip and it looked really great.

Eaiser way is to get a narrowed rear end. You see a lot of guys with 4.5 to 5.5" back spacing with 3" narrowed rear ends and 10" wide wheels. Basically they are at 5-6" lip vs the 3" on the stock width rear.

Yeah, I know, I was just thinking out loud. I'd love to have a narrowed rear at some point.
