Fikse refinish
So I bought a set of Fikse that were suppose to be in great condition but a couple of them have milky areas in the centres. I tried emailing Fikse but am not having much luck getting a response.
I thought it was pretty easy to break the wheels apart, polish the centres and then put them back together. I was considering doing it myself but I took them into a rim shop and was told that breaking the wheels down was something he wouldn't even try and that to acid dip and polish he wanted $300 per rim. I was WTF.
So I am going to continue to try and get a response from Fikse but would like input from those that might have gone through this.

Taking apart a 3 piece wheel isn't hard. That shop guy was just trying to sell you his services. Just google Fikse dis assembly, there is some good info out there. The hardest part will be removing the old silicone from the mating surfaces. The only Fikse wheels that do not have clearcoated center sections are the anodized and full mirror polished optional finishes, and all the outer rims that are polished, were bare aluminum. Technipolish, which is clearcoat over machined surface, used to be the standard finish and thats most Fikse wheels I see have.
You might try calling Fikse as opposed to email, these companies get so buried with emails, they get lost sometimes. If that still didnt work, I would look into powder coating options personally. Just the center sections could done cheaply with clear. So long as the powder coater knew they could not be sand blasted to get old clear off, that would destroy the look of the machined finish.
