Default Wheels with cts-v brakes

Hey guys looking to buy some new wheels for my 99 ws6. I have the ctsv brake up grade and I am trying get a straight answere or some for sure fitting wheels that will cover. I can't find a direct answere. Will any style 18" clear the caliper without any modifications or spacers? Thanks in advanced guys.

You need at least a 40mm front offset. Weld RTS wheels can be custom ordered with varying pad heights to accommodate the brakes without spacers as small as 17".

Most OE wheels are between 54-56 offset for Camaro / Transam and would require a spacer. Oem corvette fronts I believe are 40 but the rears require a space on F-body.

Possible solution buy two corvette offset fronts and two f-body rears.

At least 10-15 mm spacer.

i run Forgestar CF5's in 18x9.5 with a 40mm offset. they clear my CTSV front brakes without issue.

Also, the CTSV guys run the TSW Nurburgring in the same size and offset, without any issues.

what wheels? the spoke design and the concavity play the biggest part, next to the offset.

yep those clear no problem! they even clear if you want to go with the V2 CTSV brakes.

I will be using those same wheels on my G8 when I add CTSV brakes to it.

I have the biggest brakes your gonna fit on the front with a 18" wheel. With a 40 mm offset i have plenty of room to clear the calipers. OEM repro sells GM style wheels with 40mm offsets.

the 305's out back might stick out of the fenders a 1/4-1/2 inch. a 40mm offset put the wheels just about flush with the wheel well.

Even with a 40mm offset in rear they will stick out? I'm in a jam lol trying to find the right size wheels with the right offsets and tire fitment is correct. I need a 10"-10.5" rear for my rear tires and a 40mm offset in front to cover brakes lol fml
