Default 19x10 Advice...

I previously posted here regarding the sizing of 19x10 wheels with a 56mm offset. I have decided to go ahead and will be purchase the wheels within the next couple of days (spyder replicas off 6litereater) and needed some opinions on tire sizing...

For starters, I will be running 30 series sidewalls to have an overall tire diameter as close to original as possible. I should note that I am also lowered on koni yellows with BMR springs (about 1.25" if i had to guess, maybe 1.5") but am not worried too much about this quality. Also, I plan on rolling all the fenders just to be safe. Here is where I am having trouble deciding:

Front:
1) 275/30/19 -- will these tire widths be too much of a stretch on a 10" wide rim?
2) 285/30/19 -- will these rub too much and require modifying the inner, plastic fender wells?

Rear:
1) 295/30/19 -- this is my default size choice which should fit correctly if I'm understanding things.
2) 305/30/19 -- too much tire for a 10" rim? Moderate amount of fender massaging to get to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been going over the forums researching this topic (and search function before I get flamed too hard). Some seem to have no issues with 56mm offset working flawlessly while others have mentioned spacers for the rear. If so, what size should I be looking at for spacing?

Thanks for reading and any input guys -- sorry for all the questions haha. Im more of a "do it once and done" type guy.

I recommend going with the same tire size all around , and a 295/30/19 is the widest I go on a 10" wide wheel. The 295/30/19 is also only 25.98" tall on average, so it's still within the factory height range. if you want a slightly stretched tire side wall the go with a 275, if you don't then go with a 295 .

Any specific reason for getting all the same tire sizes vs. fronts and backs different?

Rotating the tires to get the most life out of them.

I've run 19x10 C6 rims w/275/30/19's Tire didn't look stretched at all to me. Howver, the 30 series tire just wasn't enough sidewall for me and I went back down to 18's to gain sidewall. I couldn't get traction on the 30 series and the ride was ROUGH...

If I had kept them, I would have gone with 285/30/19 all the way around which is the same height as the stock tires if memory serves...

Attaching pics of 275/30/19's on 19x10 C6 rims.

*face palm*... rotating the tires was an after-thought. Other than that, I don't think the 275's look stretched at all either. I'm thinking I'll end up going with the 275's up front. I'm not too concerned with rotating the tires as I don't drive this car daily and it is more of a weekend type thing. I do appreciate the pics and the feedback guys so thanks again. I'll be ordering everything either tonight or later tomorrow.

Did you have to use any spacers/fender rolling/BFH for that wheel setup? I'm going to have 56mm offsets and was thinking I will likely need spacers in the rear.

I fit 305/19/30 on my rears. Took quite a bit of BFH modding. I can still make it rub if I dump the clutch, make the rear squat and unload the front wheels. Other than that, it's good. Even spirited cornering is OK. Spirited cornering with a full throttle recovery will rub

Besides the ability to rotate the wheels/tires for even wear, IF you give even two ***** about handling at all (most on here do not), a 'square' set up is MUCH better for this than the staggered ones, due to the front weight bias, and consequential inherent under steer of 4th gen V-8 f bodies.

Spring, shock and sway bar settings/rates can possibly make up for this with a staggered set up, but only so much, and the front will never feel as 'planted' as with the same size rollers up front.

True a 'square' set up would provide the most benefit in the handling department. I feel like I will be better off than those who do the staggered wheels aka 18's up front and 19's in back. I don't think the handling will be too bad being that its only a small width issue between front and rear. Guess we will see though.
