ARP wheel stud lug nut options for drag and daily driven wheels
I have some racestar 15" rims I am currently running and plan to use them at the track. No spacers were needed and minimal rear caliper grinding. I think it would be smart for me to run the ARP wheel studs after all of the horror stories I've heard. My only concern is once I install the new wheel studs my chrome acorn style lugs will no longer fit for my chrome c6 z06 replicas. I am looking for what options I have so it doesn't look like garbage for my DD wheels. Pictures would be excellent if possible. Thanks for any help in advance!

I went with the Improved racing open end lug nuts and they look good, though the open hole does allow a lot of dirt to get in there and you have to make sure to clean it out before removing as it will chew up the threads.
As far as replacing the studs, if your car is a 4 channel abs car you can remove/install the studs through the sensor hole but if you are unlucky like me with the 3 channel you will need to remove the axle.

Also, I've got the 3 channel rear and I was able to just drill a hole in the backing plate and remove the studs without removing the axles:

I'm between rims right now...stepping down from 18" C6 to 17" O.Z. Rims, but I'll try to get some pics that might be helpful in the next few days... I'm sitting on my stock 16" with drag radials in the garage at the moment. However, even the stock centercaps fit over the extended ARP studs...

I bet it's been at least 10 years since my buddy put in my rear studs at the alignment shop. He didn't pull the axles.. he tapped out the old and pulled through the new with spare lugnuts. While it wasn't what ARP requests, I haven't had any problems with the studs since then and swapped tires numerous times for racing. Still on my original axles also. YMMV.

I actually didn't use any lubrication. If you see the thread I linked to earlier, I put my ARP studs in the freezer over night to shrink them slightly and used the Lisle stud installation tool. I used brand new Dorman lugs that were $2 each at Advance Auto and used a new lug nut on each corner.

matco sells a tool to pull studs in that doesn't stretch them. it has a bearing on the back, so it spins instead of adding resistance/stretching the stud. Use an open conical lug nut and some anti seize and they will install with ease. It's only like $40 for the tool. I can get the part number if anyone is interested.
