Hi Vince, you have sooo much HP and Torq that no matter what tire other than slicks, you will slide all day long. I have the Kumho Ecsta MX 285/40 17 all around and they slide here in Las Vegas. In Cali, they stick like a "MF". Soo it's up to you, stay with what you have is my suggestion especially with that awesome setup. I just bought a house and wish I could afford a nice engine like yours. See Yaaa, Kevin from Vegas Babbyyy

Will the 335-35zr-17 Kumho Ecsta V700 fit well on a 17x11 inch rim? I used to have AFS chrome ZR1 rims 17x9.5/17x11 (F-body offset) with BFG Comp T/A ZRs (not drag radials) 275-40zr-17/315-35zr-17 and I had to bang the inner wheel house a little bit but I didn't have to touch the bump stops at all. I didn't have an adjustable rear panhard rod either. My SS was at Rapid Motorsports two years ago getting it's H/C, RAM clutch, and Moser 12 bolt. Mikey modified the bump stops because there was an issue once the 12 bolt was installed. I am getting replica chrome ZO6s in 17x9.5s all the way around and then the rear rims are be widened to 11 inches wide. I am curious as to if 335s will fit. My 99 SS isn't lowered at all but I have entertained the idea of lowering it a bit to help decrease the 4X4 look.

I just put a set of these on my 17x11 TTII's. They look and drive awesome. My fenders are rolled and the inner fender well has BFH mod. NO rubbing at all. More than happy with my purchase!

Question is will a 335 be worth the extra work to make them fit compared to a 305? I say stick with the nittos Vince. Maybe get the bigger tire after you get a 12 bolt and then get some slicks haha. I bet the Nitto will hook just as good as the Kumho. I suppose you could go BFG too if you wanted a tad more traction but wanted to sacrifice treadwear.

I have 335/30 18 Michelin Pilot Sports on 18x11.5 iForged Aeros and lowered with Eibach Pro kit and they fit with very minimal rubbing. They rub on the fenderwell lip with 2 passengers in the car or you het a VERY large bump or dip in the road. Nothing a little fender rolling wont cure. You do have to pound the HELL out of the inner fenders though. And the correct backspacing and offset is the key.

I dont think that the little wider tire is going to help you get traction anymore than what you already have....Your car is such a beast, you arent going to hook until you get some Mickey Thompson's and a 12 bolt...
