OE C6 Z06 18x9.5 +56mm wheels and brake clearance
Looking at putting these wheels on my Trans Am:
http://www.oewheelsllc.com/CV07A-180...6-style-wheels
Based on what I can determine, these should fit fine and not rub. (Will they look dumb with +56mm though?)
However there is a warning on there about big brake kits... I have the Wilwood 13" kit, which currently fits fine under my SLP Firehawk 17" rims. I can't imagine these wheels have *less* clearance than that, but do you guys think it would be a problem? Does anyone have these wheels?
Pic attached, as you can see the caliper to rim clearance is plenty right now, I can easily get a pinkie finger in there.

For reference, the wheel clearance diagram from Wilwood:

We only carry this size in the 56mm offset, I do not have it in a 40mm
We also would not be able to guarantee fitment if you have any other brakes other than the factory brakes.

I *think* the Wilwood calipers aren't as large, but I guess I'll have to find out. Worst case, like you say, I can run a small spacer.

In case anyone is wondering or searching in the future, Wilwoods are absolutely no issue with these wheels. More space than the SLPs I had.

It's $25.00 off a set of wheels or $50.00 off a set of wheels and tires.

I bought the .OE Wheels C7 Z06 wheels 18 X10.5 and have 285/35/18 Nitto 555 G2's. The tire shop used a lift and the wheel hits the bumpstop on the driver's side. They didn't try the passenger side. I've been told the rear axle shifts on a lift. If they jacked it up by the pumpkin would the wheels fit? They are the 56mm offset. Does the rear axle really move that much on a lift? I ordered spacers but I'd like to get the wheels on without them. It is a 1998 Z28.
