I had them and really liked them for what they were. Basically in terms of handeling, wear, and driving in rain they were very similar to the Nitto 555R. In terms of traction they were a bit better than the 555R, and were more along the lines of my now NT05R's.

Not a bad radial at all I've used them before. I think they'll do you well

Depends on how treat them. Very little track time and/or burnouts, I'd say at least 10k

I ran them (just a 255/50/16) for a season of Mexico and track , when brand new they dead hooked after warmup also bolt on/stall car. I got caught in the rain a few times and they did okay . Decent tire for the price !

I'll be curious to see how my NT05R compares to the Proxes TQ in terms of mileage. I have maybe 4000 miles on them now, and they seem to have a lot left on them. Handeling wise they seem very comparable, and traction wise maybe only slightly better

I never tried more than probably 7-8 seconds on a burn out on those tires. By 5 seconds or so I'm seeing a decent amount of smoke, so never went much beyond that

This tire would work well for what you're looking for.

If you only put on 1,000 mi a year why not go with a more aggressive tire?

The mickey et street ss is only $228 with free shipping through summit and is light years above a toyo radial.

Depending on driving habits, ya around 5,000 miles. But if you only put on 1,000 miles a season that's 5 years which any radial will be dry and worthless anyways.

I'm just helping the handle okay on the street and hook up reasonably on the strip I'm not putting down a whole lot of power my guess is around 3:35 to the wheels and I'm basing that off of others that have most similar setup as mine
