Default Any drill out their JEGS SSR star wheels to fit onto 5/8 studs?

Called JEGS and was told that they are not drilled out to fit a 5/8 stud. Was wondering if anyone has done that yet. Thanks in advance

They fit on 14mm fine, increasing hole by .074 I doubt will impact anything. Lots of meat on these wheels they aren't lightweights.

Yeah I figured there is enough material, I'm just wondering if the 1" lug nut spacer will fit in between the machined spokes

Any luck with this? Thinking of similar on my mustang rear end but even if I drill the wheel for a 5/8 stud you can use a shank lug nit with the jegs wheel... might have to just chalk it up and get welds

Nothing yet, called Vision wheels the company that makes the wheels for JEGS and talked to their engineering dept. And was told that the max diameter (to be drilled) for the wheels is .640 my 5/8 studs are .6875

You wouldn't really think it though from the looks of them though, keep us updated what you decide to do I would like to run a set of these until funds allow for some welds rts as I don't care much for look of the racestars/Darkstars spoke design. In the process of ordering a rear soon and was going to go ahead and get the 5/8 stud upgrade while I was at it, my car is sitting on 2 spares 1 ws6 rim and 1 c5z wheel lol.

The Gentleman I spoke to said the wheels aren't made for 5/8ths but "What I would do if it was mine........is drill them out"......to 5/8 or 41/64 which still isn't big enough
