Default Nittos on ZR1 Replicas

Good morning. I'm in the process for setting up my car for a Weekend/Track car... Need new wheels/tires, wanted to upgrade to 305 (added traction). https://www.oewheelsllc.com/Corvette...eel-Polished_2 are the wheels I'm looking at. want to run 305's on the rear and keep the 275 in the front... will these fit my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am or is the off set going to cause rubbing on the inner wheel well?

You'll have to roll the fender lip but they'll fit otherwise. And you can run a 315 on that wheel.

I run those exact same wheels with the exact same offset with 315/35/17 Nitto NT05R's and I'm lowered about one inch too. First of all are you sure they make a 305 in a 17? If so I've never seen it

Like they said. Most run the 315's...

Yeah that's a mistake on my end... 315s is what I'm looking for.. any good reviews about the nt05r or is there a better recommended drag/street tire? I'd hate to have to roll the fender if it's not necessary though, could stick with 275s...car isn't lowered

Well like I mentioned above I run the NT05R, and I like it, but it depends on what you're looking for from a tire. Will you be lowering the car?

Hadn't planned on it, just have stock springs with koni strt.s with 35mm and 22mm sway bars if it matters... Just wanted something that I can hook decently at the track (drag strip) and switch to my stock tires when in driving on weekends in town. I like the way the car rolls with my setup currently, the 275s don't rub deep in corners at 55 anymore like my stock setup. Like the best of both worlds, but the nittos are gonna be track only.

I'm saying that if you don't plan to lower it you should most likely not have to roll the fenders if your rear end in centered. Do you have an adjustable panhard bar?
