Yes, you can put them on. Will it be a very desired look without spacers or an adapter in that offset? Not IMO, especially in the back on a TA. Do some research on offsets and what they look like before you buy them. There's a good bit more to wheels than them just "fitting". Just because it fits doesn't mean it's going to look really good.

Default Z06s on T/A?

Ok, so I don't want the tires to look "stuck" in, but I also don't want them to look "poked" out. What spacer should I use? Or should I go 17x9.5" up front and 18x10" out back and have no spacers. As you can tell, i'm an idiot and need as much assistance as possible. HOOOLLLLAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 18x9.5 all around, 1/2" in the rear, 5/16" in the front with ARP's longer studs. Looks great to me. Definitely not "poked" out. Just right IMHO. I'm also lowered though too.

Your wheels are the same offset front and rear right? Is the smaller spacer in the front b/c of the body style of the TA. I also have a black TA and have the ARP studs. My new wheels will be 18x9.5 front and rear all with 56mm +offset. Will I need the same size spacers front and rear as you did? or 5/16" front and back instead of 5/16" front and 1/2" back.

Yes, they're the same offset on all fours, this past weekend I installed the front studs and slapped the 1/2" on the front so I'm running the same setup on all fours. In the pics you saw, there was no spacer in the front. Looks better to me the way it is now. You can run them however your want 5/16th rear only is ok, 5/16th front and 1/2" rear. But 1/2" all around looks best IMHO with the 56mm offset. The spacer makes the wheel appear like a 42mm offset I believe. Xsta told me I should do this and I'm very happy with it now. It really changes the whole appearance of the car. You might not think it does, but pushing the wheels out a bit makes them look bigger. You can tell that those are 18"s on there. I get lots of compliments on my car. Plus 1/2" x 2 on front and rear equals 1" of wider wheeltrack. I'm sure that there is some performance to be gained from that.

Can you give us a good pic with the 1/2" spacers front and rear like you have now?

Cornering benefits from the wider track, but straight line performance suffers. Well, we all corner more than drive straight so lets do it. I'm going to do 1/2" all the way around. Have you had any difficulties with the spacers?

I don't understand what you mean by difficulties. Other than the look, I don't know they're on there.

Allright Beast, just for you. Before anyone goes to the pics, yes, I know my car is dirty, it was frozen over yesterday, and yes, I know my rotors and calipers look like ***, for now. This is a 2000 TA, prokit lowered with 18x9.5's, 56mm offset 265/35 tire and 1/2" spacer on all fours.

In the pics you can actually see the spacers. I don't have any before pics without them because I hated the way the car looked. I'm happy with the look other than the tires. My next set will be 285/35's rear and 275/35's front. Should look really tought after that.

Kewl, I know that with the ARP studs you shouldn't have any troubles. I have decided to do just what you did and buy the spacers you linked me to. 1/2" front and rear with ARP studs all around. I already have them on the front as you already know and the back isn't hard when I have a good friend who builds rear ends all the time. Me not having traction control makes me have to remove the axles to change the studs.

I have the same issue with my new set of Z06 wheels, 17x9.5 56mm offset.
I have the spacers on order and ARP studs. I'm gonna try 7/16 rear and 5/16 front. I have 315 in the rear and 275 front. I'll see how it looks and if I need to go to 1/2 rear and 7/16 front. I did some mat and found this:
5/16=8mm
7/16=11mm
1/2=13mm

Subtract the spacer mm amount from your wheels offset and thats your new offset..ROUGHLY

So does your wives or betterhalfs think your nutz too for worring about this?
I told her it's a "Car Guy" thing....lol

Anyone know if you can get and even bigger spacer than 1/2? A 5/8ths or 11/16ths would kick ***!

anything bigger than a half inch and you want to go with a hub centric spacer.
